Spine on bamboo blank?

Hi all.
I´m about to start building two bamboo rods. (2 piece, 7,6' , weight #4)
Does this type of blanks have a spine? Built several graphite rods but this is the first with bamboo.
If so, how do I go about to find it? Hmmmmmm....
Any advice would be highly appriciated so I dont have to redo the whole thing....
Kind regards:
Goran.

Same way as graphite.. Some guys mount guides on the inside of curve, I mount mine the Opposite.. Thanks Dave's Rods

Usually on bamboo you look for the natural curve of the blank and mount the guides so that the fish will pull against the curve and tend to straighten the blank. Any future warpage tends to happen in that plane so you position the blank so that if it does the warp will go up or down and usually down rather than side to side.

This is different from graphite rods where you aren't looking for straightness so much as the effect from the spine. On bamboo you want to build on a straight axis.
