I'm looking for an 8' medium to heavy power, fast or ex fast blank with a butt approximately .5". Prefferably something economical. Does such a thing exist? Thanks for any suggestions, steve Re: blank suggestions

Steve, What I have found to date is when you get heavy rated rods with small diameter you will be looking at hi quality blanks and thus price goes up. Also keep in mind that with a one piece blank at that length shipping prices will go up . Give a little more information as to the final use of the blank you are looking for. That might help out a little more. What is max butt dia you can accept. Are you looking for 1 or 2 piece? Mark Schulte Re: blank suggestions

One piece. Maybe up to a .6 on the butt. It will be used for carolina rigging bass. Casting rod. I built one out of a lamiglass GP963 and it's too light. I got it as a blem and the GP964 wasn't available. I realize the price on these things goes up with length and smaller, stiffer etc. I don't mind blems as it's for fuction not looks. Thanks Re: blank suggestions
