For probably the last six rods I've built, I've made a modification that I'm quite happy with. When it't time to ream and fit my graphite arbors, I've ben cutting them in half, so that I have four instead of two. I space them out evenly along the blank under the seat, and make sure they have a nice, tight fit before epoxying. In reality, this takes almost no extra work, but the difference between my rods with the multi-point bushings is noticible, particularly after putting thhe reel on. It SEEMS a little more rigid, and more sensitive to vibrations. Thought I would pass it on. TH Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
