1051. Re: FET Question
Hi Scott - Tom is RIGHT on target. I too have been audited by the Feds on this 720 stuff. Thanks to Jean Harrington of Harrington Rod Co. I had all my ducks in a row even had a 635 exemption and sailed through and only get a check up every two years to see if I am keeping my nose clean. The reason I was picked up was because a big west coast rod company got audited and they then targeted ever

1052. Re: I am new at this
Thanks for the kudos and faith that I will figure this stuff out. If I can give you any tips please let me know. Its funny the difference in sites. I posted the same question elsewhere and the only answer I got was "Don't know. Do a Search." Since I am such a computer WIZARD that means look through the books. I guess I will let my membership lapse and spend my time in the right pl

Hi Fred - I don't know about being a wealth of knowledge be I am more than willing to share the things I know and do. Us pollocks have to stick together. Actually I am a red, white and blue blooded American and big time proud of it. 22y 9m 3d with Uncle Sam will do that to you. I don't know if you can email me direct with questions but if you can I will do my best to help. If not I will try

Hi Jim good to hear from you too. What are your plans for the Show? It starts 2 Mar this year. I have a new email, address and ph #. Moved in with Rocky and Vicky since the divorce. I will check my old email, cause it is still active but I hardly get to check it except when I am with the ex and visiting my Grand daughter. If you have R&V's number try calling.
Hi John - Have no fear i

Hi Tom
Nearly bought the farm the last time. Spent 5 days on a ventilator and the last two years getting off pain meds. Almost back to NORMAL. Stopped smoking but unless I have a compramise in motor skills I will never let them cut on me again. Just too scared. Thanks Doc. ps If I can get some good pictures I will try to send you some of my new stuff. Which email address would I use?

1062. Re: Roller Guides
Hi Rick - I am not sure of what you are using there for rod or the downrigger itself. Basically rollers are used when you are using abrasive lines/wire. I use Aftco HD and SHD frequently. If you are needing a guide that will hold up to a lot of pressure from the side or torque to the side use SHD's. Hope that helps. Doc

Hi Stan
The foam I use is used as orthopedic soles for shoes. I comes in many densities. Finding it might be a prob. I went direct but had to buy so much I will probably have to put it in a will to my children. Try people who work in the field.
