im starting to build my seeker csw 748 hgl and i plan on using it for sea bass, fluke and blackfish. and i was told dont be worried about 50lb stripers with it. i was currently using a tica gemini gn300 but i see alot of buzzing with 2 speed reels. this is gonna be my combo so i would like to have some good stuff as long as it is resonably priced. are the 2 speeds worth it? Thanks Greg

i have built a couple rods and this is the only one i had prob's with. i some bubbles in my wrap about an inch long. is there any way to fix this or do i start over again? how would i strip the epoxy without harming the wrap? i tried to heat it and pull the bubbles but to no avail. i have not put the guides yet so now is the perfect time to fix it. Thanks Greg

i recently finished a baitcasting rod for my self and i think i put some of the guides in the wrong place. when my medium power fast action 7 ft bends my line hits the blank. can i remove some guides without seeing and discoloring on the blank from the thread and epoxy? can i put the rod in a jig and bend it to see where the line(braid) will hit? any spacing recommendations for it? Thank

i am building my 2nd freshwater pole and i will eventually build my saltwater seeker. i was told that an underwrap is a good idea for salt but what about freshwater. my rod is a casting rod this time but i will use it for squid fishing. if i dont use an underwrap will the blank make a flat spot on it from the guides rubbing on it and eventually break? is an underwrap overkill for freshwater?

i put some marks on my underwrap to keep my spacing right. i used a grease pencil but now i changed my design and the marks are of no use. how do i erase them without messing up the wrap? will it effect the outcome after i put on epoxy? should i just do another underwrap? Thanks Greg
