Just as the subject said, Who has the best cork? i don't mind paying for top grade cork, but trial and error gets to be pretty expensive. iam taking. no marks, wholes, ect. Is it merrick, mudwhole, anglers workshop ect. lets take a pole, iam sure we all could use this info. Who cares what they call it, flor, select, five star, how about just perfect cork rings.

I have a small crack about a 1/8 of a inch long on a female ferrule about an 1" long, it is on a bamboo rod. Any sugestion?

jim, what i do is get the top hot alomg with the glue, let the glue run into the tube, you night have to reheat the top again, you might want to use a pair of pliers to hold the top, then quickly put some glue on top of the blank while the top is still hot put it on to the blank. if you do it right you should see a lot of glue seep out. after anything cools down simply pick off the glue that se

domenic thats the whole point zip with the dremel and your done, no razor blade , heat gun, picking pieces off. one tool one swape your done.

i just discoved a great way to remove old guides and dried epoxy that i have to share. use a dremel at full speed with bit #403, which is a nylon wheel, it will cut right through the epoxy and theads and will not mark the factory finish. it will take the paint off if you paint your blanks however. but on factory finished blanks its great! if anyone knows a better way please tell me. good

in clemens book, it says (for 20 lb. line) use a 20, than two 12's than what , a ten then 8"s on out to the tip ? Fishing down along the side of the boat with live bait for stripers, so casting is not an issue. Its a 8' foot lami fast action

you can go to a auto store like pep boys they have plastic coat paint in little bottles you can probaly come darn close to the color of the rod and just use a dab on the feet i was told this and it worked for me.

pacific bay is coming out with two new items, one is a tool rest and the other is a new type of spool carriage. contact Scott Clausen at pacific bay for more info, maybe you can help speed things up. oh, these items are for the power wrapper.

first of all where can i get a cheap drying motor that would fit a pacific bay chuck, i saw one on @#$%& that was bidding at 13$. second i am build my first fly rod i want a 4 piece 6/7 wt. something pretty good . any suggestions? oh that would be 9' for large mouth and perch
