I'm trying to locate a Sage RPLXi 9 wt. blank. 2, 3, or 5 piece - doesn't matter. Anybody know who might have one? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just reading through this series of posts, interesting topic. I saw one of the posts that made me think of a product I had seen for cycling that is designed to eliminate vibrations travelling through the handlebars. Check out this link:

Is that the case when internal ferrules(like Scott fly rods) are used as well? My impression was that these rods started as one piece and then were cut and the ferrules added. Just curious. Thanks, Brian

Hello. Looking for some suggestion on a blank. Planning on building my father a new spinning rod for light/medium inshore saltwater fishing. He would like something that he could breakdown into at least 2 pieces to make travelling easier. Looking for a blank around 7' for 12lbs line. Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

Mark,
You mentioned looking at the Sage Xi2 - did you try the #9 TCR? TCR series is supposed to be very fast. Just a suggestion.

Hoping to get some feedback from someone that has used these guides - Fuji TLSG or TSG. I have always used traditional snake guides on the fly rods that I have built, but after reading posts on this site thought I might give the ceramics a try. My question is, it looks like the TLSG guides are a lower profile than the TSG - to the point that the benefit of the ceramics may be taken away due to
