How wide is the base on The Pac Bay wrapper.?
My wrapper should come in next week and I am trying to have my wrapping area ready for it. I have a neat little area that would work fine but I am limited to a 10 inch width.

I like your signature, like you I am retired, but my wife has to really try hard to make me do something I don't want to do, and I still might not do it. (did that once, only once)

69. A Wonderful Day!
What a wonderful day I had!.
I drove down to Swampland Tackle and met Lance Dupre.
He has a well stocked shop, and some wonderful advice.
He showed me how he wraps a guide and how he handle the threadmaster epoxy. He also showed me how he wraps a diamond wrap and his methods of building a rod. He helped me with some selections of supplies and what to start with in the area of tools.

I am building a rod wrapper/dryer from a Kenmore sewing machine. So far the machine is field stripped and sawed off to facilitate a 3 jaw chuck.
I need to purchase a 3 jaw chuck for the project to go any further!
The Top shaft is 1/2 inch in diameter and it has a pin hole (.157 dia or a little less than 5/32) approx .268 from the end.
If any one has any Ideas on the Chuck I would appreci
