I have the pac bay also,I was having trouble using the thread tensioner that they use for metallic thread.So I built my own carriage that rides in the slot of the bed. I used plexiglas from home depot. F.Y.I--- I done just what you all said to do.I waited till today late to do anything with it .Took my xacto knife and made a small cut at the begining of the marbling,lifted the end and peeled it right off no mess what so ever.Done it over,look great.and since I don'nt have the means to take pictures ' don'nt know what one looked better.However the second does look good thought.

Thanks Guys for your help,thats just what I was planning on doing. Turn the light off, close the door, and walk away until tomarrow .
And Putter since you have mentioned the word charge for my work ,I didn't give him a cost figure because I did not know what people charge for replaceing one guide and rewrapping the others.Any idea on priceing? The marbleing was going to be on me.

Thanks Tom & Andy, this has become a set goal for next year,I have made up my mind to incorperate it into 2005 budget.However my ony fear is I,m going to be like a kid turned loose in a toy store.

337. Is string suitable ?
Hi. Just a short question. Can you use string to snug up a reel seat ? It would take to many wraps
with thread compared to one wrap with string.Has anyone done this before,and would you get a good bond ?

@#$%&-o Rod Builders !!! Thought that I might pass this on . Don't know if it had ever been posted before or put put on the photo page, have never seen it. Have been wanting to put togeather a cork crip and a eva grip that I had gotten the materials for at Christmas.I have been holding off cause I thought that I did'nt have any way to clamp them after glueing togeather.Went out to my shop
