I am waiting on an order of Threadmaster Finish and have a little Flexcoat Finish left. I just did a butt wrap and was wondering if I could seal it with the Flexcoat put on some diamaond pattern wraps over top of butt wrap and then seal it with the Threadmaster when it arrives. So simply cna you put threamaster finish over Flexcoat, are there any disadvantages to doing this. A Lynas

I posted this question about female ferrule repair several months ago and follwed this advice with success. As you mentioned, open up cracks as far as you dare. I used Flexcoat Rod Builders Epoxy Glue and worked into crevises. Then with a little wax on the male ferrule I put the two pieces back together. Once they were together at a spot where none of the cracks and crevises showed I snuggly
