I had some dried RodBond on my rodblank... I was told to use a blowdryer on it...well, I don't own a blow dryer...so I ran some water through the coffee maker, took a rag and dipped it in the hot water and applied it to the RodBond....waited a minute or two..used a credit card (low interest )..to gently scraped the RodBond..and it came off.....no damage to the blank..no scratches !! What ever you do , do not use antifreeze or glycerin on that skin....go to TandyMart and buy their snake tanning solution, it is money well spent.....if you use glycerin, it will never evporate ,and, will eventually rot the skin... Good Morning Gentlemen..... Had a request for a rod, that has crocodile skin on the handle and foregrip....I have worked with rattlesnakes skins...but not croc skin..... I use the plastic lids off of coffee cans to mix my RodBond......then I take my spatula, with a dab of this and a dab of that...and my RodBond always comes out perfect.....I think it is the greatest thing since fitted sheets !! MaryLou
