Feather inlay on a St Croix 902 5 weight. I used an AMTAC handle with Dragon Wood trims and seat. Hopefully I picked up the colours in the base wrap for the feather inlay.

Inlayed EVA and Billy's Chinese Star. I was totally disgusted with this one when I found I had a thread had jumped prior to epoxy but I didn't see it until I went to photograph it. You bet,it's right in the middle of the 0 axis. I'm that ashamed, I don't want to show it.

This is a refurbished rod of my own done in Mettler Polysheen #40. This was a very hard rod to photograph as the colours appear very dark. In reality, it looks great and the purple is a lot brighter.

This rod is a gift to a mate of mine who is soon to retire after 32 years with the New South Wales Police Force. The colours are the State Police colours along with the dark blue and white checker. The eagle is the Police emblem and the Opal is Australia's national gem stone. All fittings are Matagi with the ECS seat in sea blue.
