Since I began building my own grips, I have been inletting for the reel seat with a Dremel. This is getting to be time-consuming if I want good results. Does anybody have a better method for inletting a completed grip?

Don't forget about the "complete" action. Too many people think about the action in terms of casting (and long distance casting) at that, but that's not all that we do. I put much more emphasis on short casts, mending, and how the rod feels when I have a fish on.
