Ken, I just finished a Forecast, 4 pc 5wt. The blank is a beautiful dark blue. I used Gudebrod garnet with no CP and tipped the wraps in gold HT metallic. The results are very nice. The garnet wraps look like jewels against the blank. Silver metallic would have been nice as well. I remember reading about this color combination on the board here and the advice was, as usual, right on the money.

Ken, Micro-Mark sells a small, precision table saw that looks pretty good for fine work. The specs say it's good for a 1" depth of cut in soft material. It's a tilting arbor saw so you could even do angle work. Here's the link:
