I have not had any luck with micro guides and find them too fragile for heavy duty use. I would tend to lean more towards KW guides. If he's chucking big bucktails, pounders, etc, I would much rather go with strength than what little weight savings you are going to get.
Likewise, Titanium and Torzite is pretty cost prohibitive and IMO, overkill. I would rather put my money into a better bla

Just curious why no one sells Renzetti Rod Lathes besides Renzetti?
I also tie flies on a Renzetti and can buy a vise at several retailers.
Would be nice to actually go in a store and see one or get package deals instead of buying piece parts.

The program works by searching thru the available thread mfg's color and compares it to the color you want to match. You can enter in your color by RGB, HTML color, Pantone, screen capture or another thread.
Thread mfg's on file are Gudebrod, Prowrap, Fishhawk, PacBay and Madeira.

I have a large downstairs space that I am going to convert to a rod building / fly tying / man cave. What are some of the must haves to take into consideration when laying out the room (ie is 15' worktop big enough, lots of cabinets for storage)? What are some of the nice to haves (ie outlets at workspace height, track lighting with daylight bulbs)?
