I had a couple of questions as to your decal sizing for ice rods. Sent an email, no telephone listed, to customer support which returned a reply to contact 'Orders'. So followed up with an email sent to 'Orders' as directed, which returned a reply about your business hours being "Monday - Thursday 8am to 4 pm Central time. We are closed on FRIDAYS and all legal holidays."

Just so I'm clear, you're saying to never drop a metal winding check down a blank? ;)

A coworker asked if I could do an ice rod for he and his son with the Nebraska Husker colors and logo on it. The blank is way too small of a diam. for a logo, and I'm concerned placing it on the cork (Tennessee handles), the reel bands would "crush" the finish if just using clear coat. Would a couple or more coats of a clear polyurethane finish be better?

38. Re: Pro Paste
I was thinking of trying the paste to build epoxy ramps in lieu of using winding checks. Just curious if it took pigments well. May try it, paint over it then use a finish coat. If it doesn't look well.

Anyone know of a supplier for decals that would fit an ice rod with a butt of around .250? Mudhole and GetBit decals listed are to large. Thanks.

In the past I've been involved in a few web upgrades. We generally took the approach of having a small number of longtime loyal clients/customers have access to the "site" prior to releasing it to the general public. In the case of Mudhole, the amount and variety of product would have made that cumbersome. Possibly having some feedback prior to release of a few customers would have give

It took me about 15 minutes to become accustomed to the new layout and find my way around, and I think it's a good change and like it. For me it's easier to navigate and filter what I am looking for. Nice job all around Mudhole!

What Jim said... My dad passed when I was 32. Build him a quality rod and one day it will be yours to pass down to your son, just sayin'...

FYI - When you click on the link FIB-26UL-MHX under 'Blank Model', it's leads to a page which states "THIS ITEM IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.", while other links go to the rod blank page. If you have 300 of these in stock, you should update your links. Perhaps clicking on 'Add' for the shopping cart does add a noodle blank to the cart, but it still appears like they are "not available&q

Thank you Buzz! On the mudhole web site they were showing 'THIS ITEM IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE'. It's always possible they haven't updated their site too. I';ll contact them next week and double check. I do appreciate the offer to a fellow who just made his first post here! Thank you and have a great weekend!

47. Noodle blanks?
Building a few ice sticks and mudhole appears to be out of noodle blanks. Any recommendations on another source? Customer didn't want to go the Thorne Bros route. Thank you.
