I'm building on a Phenix megalodon mpx 569 cb jigging rod for halibut in Alaska! I want to use the Aftco aluminum gimbal I want to put a rear 10 inch Eva grip on it what grip should I use for a flush fit? The butt OD on this rod is .660. I'm building a rod for my pops it's a 5ft ultra light rainshadow blank. He wants something similar to the microwave guide series but being a cheap a$$ doesn't want to spend that much money. What if I start out with a larger guide and piggy back a smaller guide behind it? If Indid that what sizes should I use and would a particular guide be better suited for this?

I see you can buy the componets, such as a motor for a power wrapper. Any one had any sucesss in building one? or have a plan drawn out to build one?

34. Epoxy on Epoxy
I'm trying out a self sticking decals! It went on great I epoxied over it I was wondering if I let it cure for a few hours where if I apply another coat of epoxy will it allow it to build of thickness in that area that I apply epoxy?

I know the mix has not been contaminated its brand new and I have only used the syringes provided by pro-kote. Maybe I didn't mix it long enough can I just put another coat on and If mixed properly will it harden okay?

I recently put thread finish on a rod I'm building and the 2nd go around came out kinda sticky I sanded it down wipped down with bottled water and a coffee filter and Refinished it. This go around was not as sticky but still some stick to it. What's weird is I am doing it the same way as I always do and have never had this issue before. I always use pro-kote. I was going to stick my decal on and

39. Finish question.
Good evening folks! I'm currently working on two rods I applied finish to one of them about 20 mins ago how long or rather how soon can I turn the rod dryer off and slap the other rod in there to apply finish to it!?..... I know it will take pretty much a day to fully cure but how long until it no longer will run or cure uneven?

Is there really any reason to seal cork grips? If so is u-40 cork seal the only product for this job?

I'm talking abou a single thread IN-lay in the middle of a wrap I have no issues getting it started but when I wrap the tag end back under the main wrap I always end up with where I wrapped it under creating a bump. It seems like other wraps I have looked at from custom rods I have had made that is smoother.

Hello There I have watched videos read articles and I am still having trouble especially with single thread one wrap inlays. Do you do multiple wrap inlays the same way. I know this is fairly basic stuff but I need help!
