Thanks. I do have some with 1/4" holes and some with 3/8" holes. I bought a ton of these at an @#$%&, so I don't have an alternative here. I will try a rat file with a drill. The grips I am trying to ream out is like a gray color and is a more solid smooth grip compared to the EVA black grips. And they need to be reamed out to close to 5/8". Blisters and more blisters. Thanks,

Is there an easier way to ream out EVA or the harder foam grips than by hand with the reamer sticks? This is killing my hands and takes a long time. thanks, Dave Ervin

I am looking to build some split grip rods with EVA grips. How do you form them by hand, what do you use to taper ends, cut them down to smaller sizes. I am new so any info is appreciative. Thanks, Dave

I am a beginner. Where can I find some information on wrapping guides with 2 different colors of thread? I am able to wrap with one color now, how do you drop in a second color, like a metallic band on the end? Thanks, Dave

How do you attach your rod blank with grips and freshly glued guides to a drying motor? Is there a homemade jig out there I can make? The motor is a slow small motor and stand I bought from Cabelas that has just a nipple on the motor sticking out. What do you use? Thanks, Dave

Can you use Devcon 2 part epoxy for thread finishing? Can you use it for gluing reel seats and cork grips to blanks? Just curious, I know it is available, but don't know the results. Any info is appreciated. Any other over the counter epoxies or adhesives work? Thanks, Dave

I have come across some reel seats and handles ( grips) together with a cut off blank inside them. Can they be reused? How would you go about removing the old blank that has been cut off from the inside? Is it worth the trouble? I have a bunch of these I picked up at an @#$%&. Mostly Spinning handles. Thanks, Dave

Hi. My name is Dave Ervin. I am new to rodbuilding. In fact I haven't built my first rod yet. My first rod will be a 7'6" MH basscasting rod. I will use Fuji New Concept alconite guides. My question is what kind/size of thread to use for the guides? What kind of epoxy? What kind of epoxy to use for reel seat and cork handles? I have been practicing thread winding on some old rods. Also I
