Made an error in my post yesterday. I stated that I was going to start with a 16 recoil however, it should have stated 20 recoil. I measured my reel face and according to this measurment I should start off with a 25. I am going to static cast it with a 25 and 20. My guess is that I should be looking for line slap. Believe I should use the one with the least amount of line slap. What say you

Read the post on concept guide spacing this morning and something got my curiosity up! Noticed that Todd and Joe start their Butt guide off with a 25. I plan on using a 16 recoil guide. My spinning rod is 6' 10" and I have the butt guide about 20" from the center of my reel seat. Am I doing something wrong?

I WOULD TAKE AND PRINT A TEST PAGE. NORMALLY THE PRINTED TEST PAGE IS IN COLOR. IF THIS DOESNT WORK THEN IT COULD BE YOUR PRINT CARTRIDGES OR PRINTER SET UP. IF YOUR TEST PAGE PRINTS IN COLOR OPEN UP A NEW WORD DOCUMENT AND CHANGE YOUR FONTS TO A COLOR OTHER THEN BLACK AND WRITE A FEW WORDS, THEN PRINT THIS OUT TO SEE IF IT PRINTS IN THE COLOR OF THE FONTS YOU SELECTED. TIGHT LINES.

I AM INTERESTED IN THE TECHNIQUE THAT AIRRUS ROD USES FOR THEIR REEL SEATS ON SPINNING AND CASTING RODS. ANY IDEA WHERE YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO OBTAIN THE CAXIN REEL SEAT?
