31. Uneven finish
Hello. I have a rod that I have gotten the finish uneven in front of the foregrip. I'm using U40 LS supreme and it's been alittle over twelve hours on the dryer. What's the best way to correct this issue. Learned a lesson again. Was in a rush and wanted to get the finish on in order to give the rod afew days to cure before our opening day.

Thanks Steve. Yes I'm looking to remove the casting marks from the seats. Do you paint your seats ? Could use a tip or two on that as well. Thanks again. Cory

I was wondering if any one has polished out the casting marks from reel seats.I am looking for information on what they used to polish them out and how it turned out. Also interested in painting the seats. I did a search and seen that some had used automotive paint with a clear coat over top but the seats didn't have a lot of use. Im looking for a durable finish. Can some one point me to the link

Hello looking for some info on working with eva grips. I don't have much experience with eva as I am a big on cork.My question is can you turn and reshape eva foam and what is the best way to do this. Can you do the same way as cork.Im a week away from parts here so if someone can throw me a tip or two it would a big help. thanks

Hello Im new to building and am using U40 Dura Gloss Supreme and was wondering if someone out there knows what temp is best for using this product.I use my basement room and would like to control the temp when coating my work.thanks

I am new to rod building so please bare with me.I am building a 7' baitcaster rod using the Microwave guide system.the blank is a St. Croix Med.- Heavy power Med. action 10-20 lb. 3/8-1oz.blank.When I used the spacing provided and tested it I get line contact with the blank to about five guides back from the tip.I have changed the spacing of the guides and it did help to some degree but I still g

my blanks from Andy should be here today I hope.This will be my first rod with the microwaves.I have a question about using the guide spacing charts that come with them.The rod is a 7' St. Croix casting blank.I will test cast but was just wondering if you that have used them have found the spacing charts.? thanks
