Iam getting ready to start a ISB844 rainshadow in a green colored casting rod ,of course spiraled wrapped but i dont know what color thread i should use i want something different not your ordinary wrap ill let this roll and hear what you fellas have to say thanks

on my pac bay wrapper/drier all i have to do is flick the toggle switch and my drying motor turns the other way also if i grab the rod by the grip wile turning in the dryer to try to stop it from turning it simply starts turning the other way i bought a dring motor from neals fishing tackle to make a second dryer this motor does the same as i just mentioned

i was at turners yesterday and was checking out the rods on the racks i came across the shimano clarus grafite im7 one piece 7' med heavy fast action 12-20 lb line casting rod this rod has a lot of back bone i want to purchase the blank does any body know were i can buy this blank,? the salesman told me that the blank was posibly a G Loomis . i dont know if G Loomis is suppling rod blanks to

Iam building a stand up rod its 7' 3/4 - 3 oz 20-40lb spiral wrapped . ive got the guides taped on, did a static distribution test, moved the guides it looks ok as far as that goes. from the center of the reel to the first guide (a #25) it measures 21 1/2 ". 6" from the end of the fore grip to the first guide when i grasp the rod simulating a fish on, line through the guides and

how long does it take for rod bond to set up and get hard i just glued the but cap reel seat and grips on a stand up rod. and iam planning to take it to work to show it to the guy iam building it for in about 4.5 to 5 hours is it safe to handle it then?

iam talking about 5' to 6' spinning blanks what is the purpose of the two pieces being different lenghts why cant they be the same length ?. ive seen several rods that are either the same lenght, and the tip section that are longer, from 1" to 9" is there a purpose for this btw i registered a couple of days ago went to log in tonight and it didnt take my password i clicked on f
