i'll suggest you to cut the arbor in 2 pcs and place it on blank with some gap and fill the gap with rodbond
my concern is not the epoxy strength but the arbor strength.
my first experience with SK2, the arbor broke when i accidentally twist the reel
with the method above the blank will have direct glue contact with the reel seat

i have experience before for accidentally applying epoxy with slightly wet brush
water content in the brush change the epoxy color to milky white in the wrap and mixing cup
in your case i think the CP you used are water based and it's not completely dry when you applied epoxy over it

i have installed it using graphite arbor that include on reel seat kit before
after the rod bond cured, i test put a reel on it and i accidentally twisted the reel seat and the arbor broke(at trigger section)
now i reinstalled using masking tape.it more heavy than arbor but i think it stronger

in indonesia it's only cost you $1.5-$2 for 1 brand new drying motor and $6-$9 for sewing machine motor for power wrapper
unfortunately shipping cost from here to US is very expensive

i cant answer your question because the only tiger pattern i did just black and white(mimicking giant snakefish)
but i have read in another board that you can "predict" your tiger outcome
by taking bottom layer picture with your phone(or any low pixel camera) before any finish apply and watch it through thumbnail or you can simply resize those photo to smaller size
