Daniel a year ago I was going to build a Rod targeting Dorado in the east Cape Mexico with the light weight Aftco guides. I was told from one supplier that you really need to have the guides to see what king of blank to purchsae. You almost would have to have all the componants in front of you. What you don't use you would return. From that info I did not pursue those particular guides. Not sure

Is there much differance in the specs over all? Are these maybe blanks that didn't fit their Quality control and are now offered at a discount. What do you all think?

Tom I feel that too ,however I have read on the flyrod blanks they seem very fragile and not much luck with them. Breaking is the problem.I Don't know. Maybe I'll go for it and then let everyone else know later. Thank You

A few weeks ago I had asked if anyone had any remarks good or bad on Gatti spinning blanks with no reply. I am asking again! If no remarks I guess I'll rest my case and leave it alone because I believe in this forum. Thanks Rick

What wrong with NOT moving in your living room? That could now be your new Rod building room!

Have read pros and cons of the quality of the Gatti products. I'm interested in the Gatti spinning blanks for a inshore rod. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks Rick
