I had a Marine call me today and wants me to try and build him 15 rods with the marine desert digital camo pattern on the blank. He travels the country helping out the injured Marines and has a boat wrapped with this camo and wants the rods to match. I have a customer that brought me a rod that has a custom made down locking reel seat on it that is broken. It is like th Struble D-2 deluxe down locking seat but there is no insert the original builder used the cork handle and just turned it down. This seat is missing the end cap that the reel foot sits in. The end of the cork handle that it was glued to is 16mm. Were can I find the parts to

I have a guy that has a lot of G. Loomis rods that he does not like the look of cork. He is wanting me to replace all of them with EVA split grips. Thanks for all the help. I told him he had two options. First was to leave it with me and not take it to the tournament and I would fix it right. The second option was for me to use the 5 min devcon and it would yellow over time and could get brittle. That way I had no responsiblitly for how it would react or look after time. He went with the quick fix.

I usually use flex coat high build but I just got a phone call from a guy that needs an eye replaced tonight. He has a tournament he is leaving for in the morning. Is there a two part epoxy that I can use that will work on the eye were it will not have any issues?

I need to cut some length off of some EVA grips. I have not installed them yet. I think I have heard about using heavy lb mono to do this but not sure. How do you guys cut your EVA? Thanks Bobby
