i have used it on a couple of rods and after a year it has not turned yellow yet and i used it on some white wrappings so far so good i used some flex coat and it turned yellow on some white wrapping just sitting on the garage

i only have positive experience with their saltwater blanks which are lighter and thinner than the GUSA blanks with lots more lifting power i have seen and pulled on some of their bass fishing made rods and those rods i seen and pulled were lighter than shimano's and g loomis rods the guy that show me the the rods had a scale and a few rods made by different manufactures and the phenix rods were

if you like thin diameter blanks and light weight take a look at Phenix line of blanks i would go for this one PSW806L 8-25lb

i have built 5 rods on their saltwater black diamond blanks they are thin and light i have also seen and pulled on their fresh water rods and they are lighter than the major rod companies since i pulled on this blanks i liked them they have tremendous lifting power they are fast tapered if fished with in their line rating but you have the option to overfished them if you space your guides accord

i bought some veterinary syringe int the 60 cc and filled them with rod bond it work perfect i still haven't tried the gel yet but it should work good with the gel

it happened to me on a rod that i used color preserver but it was more like an air pocket

i have used permagloss to restore a couple of rods and then rewrapped and used threadmaster finish did not have any problems.
