I use bobbins for wrapping on my power wrapper.I bought 12 of the large Griffin bibbins that held the 1oz spools years ago and never looked back. I can run 4 bobbins at a time for tiger wraps or just one for doing a guide wrap and still I'm able to do inlays, fades and stuff with them with no trouble at all. I guess it's all in what you get used to. Now If I owned a Rennzetti rod lathe, I would m

Depends on the look you're after, if you want a smooth grip, then you'll need another coat of epoxy on the CFX grips.

I used to use Lum

That's the brand I use, been using it for about 3 years now and works good for me. Good pot life and a thin consistency for a good wet-out. I do a final coat with Diamond Finish Clear

I use schedule 40 foam core PVC pipe, it's a lot lighter than regular schedule 40, and protects more than a cardboard spiral or convoluted tube would.

Its just an application tape, i use it to put over vinyl decals i cut after wedding. It's used to pull the decal off the wax backing paper to apply the decal. If you google application tape you will find a few sign supply places that carry it. I use clear high tack because that's what i already have for my vinyl decals doing layering work. Plus using it i don't touch my printed rod decals at all

Dave I had the same problem when I first got my 270 and it drove me crazy!. I started using a high tack clear app tape to apply my decals, after rolling( I use a lot of pressure) the decal on the blank, I apply a little heat to the top app tape right before I remove it. Then take that same piece of tape and blot all the way around the decal to remove the tiny amount of glue that was squeezed out
