Im trying to find a blank that will be close to the tide master 3 pc travel rod,its a 7.6 hf 3pc rod ,i need something close to it in a 2pc 7.6 blank,anyone have a idea?

When your doing a rod,say like a blue and white is there a trick to keep the color from blending togather,i put the blue base down then add the white in small places around the rod,it seems like the wjite will blend in with the blue,almost all of it,what the trick to this not happening?
