Tom, Yes you are correct, it has an indent to hold a solid mandrel. Mark Crouse has one he uses on his lathe, but he doesn' remember where he got it. Jim Hitt

Hi all, I am looking for a live center that screws directly onto the tail stock of the Taig micro lathe II. The one I am looking for is shaped like a half moon on the front where a mandrell would rest inside the half moon. I have searched for this part for hours with no luck. This is not an accessory offered by Taig. Would anyone know where I can buy one of these? Thank you for your help. J
