We would like to take this opportunity to say Thank You to everyone who stopped by our booth. It was great seeing some old faces and also getting to meet some new customers. It was certainly our pleasure doing business with you at the show and hopefully in the future.

I recently had the opportuniy to tour the Batson facility and meet with the whole team that makes up Batson Enterpirses. For those of you who have never been there or talked to any of the staff, you owe it to yourself to make contact. What an extremely professional group of people of obviously know their product and are well versed in explaining it to you. From the moment we walked through the

Brent,
I think what you are looking for is the Batson BVDUG. It is on page 34 of their book.

Aaron,
If it is any help to you, we have been building saltwater rods for the last few years, exclusively using the Batson Double Black Chrome ss304 guides and have also been using the SS316 X series, and have had no complaints or issues. Either one of these series will fit you fine.

Jeff,
As Steve said that C812 from Batson is a great blank, or if you are not looking at spending as much, the Batson ISB802.75, which is a Medium XtraFast. This one is a hot seller here in the midwest for smallies.

I agree with Duane, I think you will be very happy with the CB70MH version over the medium. We have customers using the MH and also another option you may look at is the IP844.

11. Re: skipping rod
GySgt. Kaufmann,
I have been using the Batson Rainshhadow IC722, a 6 ft medium. I personally like the quicker response from the 6 footer and with our stained water and milfoil here in Minnesota, we get get up tight and personal with the docks without spooking the fish.
