The case and rod do not go together.

Thanks Harry,
The Rod came with a aluminum tube case. The sticker on the tube has Sweetheart spinning rod by Wright & McGill Denver Colorado U.S.A.
The rod looks to be a spinning rod with about 6 inches of cork for the rear grip.It has a reel seat like some fly rods that you pull a ring down to
the reel and give it about a 3/4 turn to hold it.
Thanks for the repair ideas.I have that colo

Any ideas on what to use for bonding it back together?
It has Made In Germany on the reel seat that looks to be made of aluminum along with a red insert in the tip top.
The guide wraps look to be wrapped with a burgundy thread that my have started out as

Hello,
I just got some of the Shikari SH II from Mud Hole in the FS 663 and FS 664.
My question is has anyone built on these recently and what they thought of each one as a worm rod.

Yes Mark,
I would be interested in what you found.
Here is my E-mail "[email protected]"
This Hookhider product looks like another way to extend a blank by 5 inches.
The owner Paul Reed was there showing how sensitive the rods were.
Maybe to high modulas for pros.LOL

Found this product at the Texas Bass Classic a week or so ago.looks like it will work nice.I bought three to try for myself.
I did a search and found only two entries back in '02 .It is a handle kit with a built in place to slide your hooks up the handle.Works with no points exposed to catch in your carpet or snag other lines.
Just thought I would bring it back to the front and see if anyone o

Steve,
It was sounding to me like you my have built the grip on a
Graphite tube then mounted it on the blank like you maybe would a
reel seat. Were you extending the blank?
How did you use the graphite tubing?
Thanks, still gathering ideas.

Steve G,
Your saying that you built the grip on a graphite tube then mounted the tube on the blank
instead of directly on the blank.
Right?

Mike,
Why would it be that every one I have picked up feels like I have ahold of a golf ball.I have a medium to small hand for a guy?
one size fits all should be average/medium
Is this maybe to get more advantage out of a split grip by having as short of a butt end grip as you can tolerate?
I did mean production. I find ahold my not be a word according to ISPELL. LOL
Thanks

I am looking for a starting point for how far apart to have the two pieces.Not from top to bottom as much as the distance between the two grips.{7" grip 3"s between 7" grip 4"s between and so on}

Could this also be used on the wraps?
It had a very low build on the wraps almost like an old fly rod.
