This whole story reminds me of an incident that I have heard retold several times regarding some custom boat builders at Harkers Island. A gentleman came down and commisioned the building of a new custom sport fisherman with a particular builder. He described how he wanted the boat laid out and what he wanted on the boat, which was duly writtten down and in due course the keel was lain and the co

This what I have come to expect when I subscribe to magazines if the issue ha

Not that it will help in this case, but maybe you should consider a prominent posting in the counter area of your shop that any rod repairs and / or finished rods not claimed within 30 or 45 or 60 days are forfeited and will be placed out for sale to the general public. You should also consider adding this verbage to any invoices and / or claim tags as well. You may want to seek legal advice in y

One possible solution is to host the electronic version of the magazine (if that is something Tom even wants to consider) on a secure server with a subscription based login. Of course you would want to set it up to track IP's used to log into each subscription so you can monitor for multiple logins to the same account. This would have to be carefully considered and this would only be a starting

As a person with a background in marketing, from a vendors viewpoint, shows like the ICRBE are not necessarily about what you sell during the show. Attendance and the cost of going is as much about who you meet that may be a potential future customer as it is about whether you break even on the trip in those two days. You are there to meet present and future customers and suppliers as well as you

Tom, that is easy! You tell another lie (uhmm marketing ploy) to cover up the first mis-statement. Although somewhere down the line the house of cards usually collapses.

Andrei, I think that it does not matter what the individual coin weight is. Just use the lightest or least costly coin in your country. you could even use pebbles or marbles or any other light weights.

Jay it more probably has to do with cookies. I can reboot my pc and still not have to log in again. So it is something with the settings in IE or whichever browser you use.

You have to register and log in at the photo page, Ray. For simplicity, you would probably use the same login you use here.

Looking at this thread, I can only shake my head. If the shipper is a vendor that only sells parts and components and the person doing the packaging and shipping does only that, then the packaging and handling costs shold be covered as a function of normal overhead that is factored into the price of each item they sell. If the person that packages and ships the product usually is doing something
