Gents, i've been off the forum for quite a while, but still building now and then.
My other hobby, restoring vintage Honda motorcycles has kept me busy.. :)
I recently started 2 rods, and have FINALLY run out of the old 811. Love the stuff.
Are there any CP's out there that are similar to the old 811?
if my memory serves me, Future floor polish was sometimes used.
is that still an option

I have a White River Classic for my 1 and 2wts. Got it at Bass Pro Shops.
It is 2.2 oz, unlined, and has an un-adjustable click-pawl drag.
A Nice machined reel.

On a hot day will my celery rod go limp? ;)
Molecular Nano-technology is being used by Wilson Tennis, in there production of high-end (carbon) racquets. They are durable, lightweight, and extremely strong. Im sure &*^%^%# or &^$^ or &%&#!* will come out with their version of 'Nano-rods'
I can see the headlines now "Fish the "N-Factor" "

Easy stuff to use and I usually dont thin it. I do have to say that out of my last few bottles, there has been a noticeable difference in thickness.
If you do need to thin it, use Isopropyl Alc, and less than 1:5 is all you'll need. Be sure it is mixed well, saturate your wraps, and wick away the excess. If you think you got it too thin, apply a second coat after the first is dry.

I've built the 11'6" Batson Rainshadow RX7 IST1384(4-10lb line). Its a great float rod for steel.
Casts 8lb braid like a rocket.
I used single foot LTCUDCG#20 down to #6's out the top.
Graphite spin seat with split rear grip and 4" foregrip.
Build this one with a split handle and he will thank you.
A nice, lightweight rod for really fun fish.

I use this stuff exclusively. 3cc's of each is all you need. I would guess there was some unmixed finish and you didnt even know it. Be sure to mix down the sides of your bowl, and even on your mixing utensil.
Mix up another batch (3cc's of each) and put a thin coat over the tacky. It will come out fine!
I use the (cleaned with denatured alc) bottom of a soda can as my mixing bowl, and t

Anglers Workshop came through, again!
Originally they told me they were out, and it would be backordered 4-6 weeks.
Dissapointed, I told them to just send the rest of my order.
Dave Lyons took the time to search and located one before my order went out.
These folks are great.

CTS and AW say they are backordered 4-6 wks.
I'd like to work with one of the sponsors, but i'm having no luck finding one who carries Bellinger and has one of these in stock.
Any direction is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Rob
