Did a lot of orders with Midland, they carried mostly Lamiglass blanks, they also had other rod building componets, I knew the owner Harold for about 20 years, He wanted his family to take over the business, I think he had daughters, they were always helping him at the store, but I guess it did not workout. He also attended the Suffern Outdoor shows. Rich Kline

Thanks for all the info, Billy they don't make the Dixon Knife anymore or I just can't find it on the net, I purchased it from one of those now out-of business rod building supplier, can't remember which one. I have a power miter saw just need a finer blade, thanks for that TOM, I will look into purchasing a scroll saw, and a new knife maybe a kinsu like Roger uses, once again thanks for the

Billy: Looking to cut 45 degree angles, I have a wood lathe with mandrels for the straight cuts. been using a mider box with a dixon knife, worked pretty well, but knife is getting dull, and ther is no way to sharpen. Looking to upgrade the process. Rich Kline

Jeff: I use Pac Bay CSBBG braced carbide boat guides on all my bunker spoons rods and wire trolling rod, never had any problems with grooving with these guides. Rich Kline C.R.

Jeff : I would stick with the AFTCO Rollers, I think they offer a roller guide that will handle wire lines, don't know if Pac Bay Classic will handle wire line. Rich Kline

I would go with carbide braced guides , available at the Mud Hole Tackle, These guides will handle the wire lines required for Bunker Spoon trolling. Rich Kline.

Paul: I purchased a Pac Bay dryer a couple of months ago, I used it many times with 2 or more rods, Worked very well, adjustable jaws, hold rods butt tight, roller work well also, no complaints so far. Rich Kline C.R.
