Hi all, The new Cabelas' FT+ blanks have caught my eye. Everything about them is appealing. Fast action, nice color, Made in the USA and the price is not bad at around $125. I'm curious if anyone has used them or if anyone used the discountinued FT rods or blanks. How do they compare with other blanks with similar price? Any opinions better buys for fast action blanks in this price range? Als

In case you haven't seen them, they are sold through Cabelas and are very similar to the butt lock seats used on Orvis fly rods. Anyhow, I recieved my seat this afternoon and was initially thrilled. I immediately went down to my lair and carefully assembled it. As I waited for the epoxy on the seat components to

Hi, i've been doing a few test wraps with some Gudebrod 00 white silk and LS Supreme on a gray blank. I've had no problems with either, in fact I'm liking the LS Supreme very much even though I've been loyal to Flex Coat for quite a while. Any how, I was trying to get a nice transparent wrap. Once coated the wraps look good when viewed at a 90 degree angle but are a hazy purple-ish color when
