Finally got around to do some practice between having babies. This is my second weave and 1st colour change. Again would not have got this far without the help of my Mate! Doc Ski and his wonderful DVD. Thread is E for the wrap and D for the weave, substituting Gudebrod gold instead of metalic for ease of learning. Thanks again Doc, the barra weave is set up in the looms watch this space.

I thought I would post this as Champagne corks get overlooked due to their shape. If you microwave a couple of corks in a bowl of water for 10 minutes it expands to its pre pressed shape. I have made several grips with them and have found that they don't change shape or come apart after time. Sorry that it's out of focus.

Bob, I am sure Robert would have asked MH already and they would have given "the we don't devulge our suppliers", anyway.
It is a good question actually, specially for us Australians, with our free trade agreement with the US any thing made in the USA does not acquire duty when imported, same in reverse. Don't see a rumour in asking or a Rodbuilder giving their veiw.

Ted,
Mick (G'day Mick) and I did some tests in the Aussies sun.
Keep right away from rayon, it did some funny things. Mick might still have the results.
I might have a perfec match to the exist here in maderia, I will cross reference it to the Diawa cattledog.

G'day fella's,
Long time no post. I was wondering if anyone had a jig or an idea on how to rebate cork or eva to suit the Fuji IPS reel seat. I have looked at Ray Jorgensen's mention on his website, but wanted to find out if there is any other way a jig could be constructed.

Japanese tackle speaks for itself, reels, components etc. I just wish that the Daiwa products made for the US and Australian market was as good as the product they build for themselves, maybe we should demand the same quality here on our own soils.
