You can use the google machine to search for “fine tip” grease pencils. Look for the type you can sharpen with a pencil sharpener. You can also quickly make a sharp point with a box cutter or simply rubbing the marking tip horizontally on a rough surface to your desired angle/sharpness.

This is the bass I caught on the delta blank, lower right corner partially shows the blank. I sanded down the ridges to a smooth surface.

I built a Delta CB705 and a APFG745 for bladed jigs and they both work good. The tips are “light” enough to feel the movement of the jig, or lack thereof, and the blank has plenty of power to handle big bass. Largest bass I’ve caught was close to 7lbs on the Delta blank, handled it with ease. I’ve only use 3/8 or 1/2oz jigs.

I use the same blank for jigs, spinnerbaits, small swimbaits, really any stout single hook lures… a heavy 7’ fast action 1/4-1oz lures (NFC SJ706). I haven’t tried a 1/4oz but 3/8 to 3/4 works great. I easily get 100’ casts with 3/4oz jigs using the Shimano Bantam w/ 15lbs fluorocarbon.

I’m a KR-Concept fan boy but for your idea American Tackle has these Air guides you could consider. I’d want to keep a light rod as light as possible but I don’t know the weight difference of AT’s Air compared to Fuji’s RV-H, i’d assume the Air’s lighter. You could use Fuji’s RV-H for the KR-Concept if your cool with spending $40 for a 16H with a SiC ring. I have used Minima guides for UL builds

Chris, you can use double foot guides for the KR concept guide train. The RV-H is the double foot alternative.
Check out the link for some guide train options…

Attached is a link to Fuji’s guide recommendation for different applications.
If your using a short leader that won’t pass through the guides and determined to use the KR Concept do a 25H-12H-8M-7L-KT6 runners. I don’t have much experience with your target fish or 60lbs leaders but if you keep it short and out of the guides you should be good.

Les, I believe the original link was from the Fuji eu site that’s having issues. I have it saved on my phone as a pdf. I can only send over the fuzzy pictures. It looks like the eu site has been hijacked by scammers.

Someone in another post was asking about the Phenix M1, it has a flared but section on the blank you can buildup a grip for it and get a similar look to the expride.

You sure can use the KR concept for a 12’ carp rod. The link will give you some ideas. Start at page 28.
