Thats is great to hear David. I have heard great things about their customer service at batson so I'm hoping this process goes smoothly. Like I said being in Canada it is usually harder to get stuff across the border. If it goes through a business it is usually alot better. Usually when I order something it gets held in customs for at least 2 weeks.
Regardless of how long it takes to get here a

My supplier called me Sunday afternoon as he was getting my order ready. There was a stocking issue and they did not have the REVS610MXF in stock but he had 1 IMMS610MXF. When I ordered it said it was the other way around. I ended up getting the immortal for $68 Canadian. I think that's pretty good.
The order arrived yesterday but I just got a chance to really check it out tonight. I wasn't s

The supplier I deal with had a sale on starting in January buy 1 in stock rainshadow blank and get a second one half price. While most of the blanks I was really after were not available I thought at the discount I would give this a try.
I ended up ordering a ETEC68M-SS and a REVS610MXF. The revelation is not where I wanted to go with my dropshot build but at the price it came out to I'm goin

8. Re: Get Bit
I ordered a guide set from get bit over the holidays and it shipped out extremely fast. It went from the states and entered Canada and then held up in customs in Canada. It was held there for over a week before finally being shipped to me. But from get bit even over the holidays they had my order shipped out withing 24 hrs. Even came with a thank you card. Couldn't ask for better service.

Thank you for this post. It is great to be able to see the change in some of the colors. I am new to this so it is nice to have a reference point. If only this thread was here last week when I placed my order. Haha. That forged steel would be an excellent color for the rod I am about to start.

I do agree that that would be the best way to pick a blank but it is wha

I have emailed the supplier I have been dealing with about the possibility of ordering in a Eternity or if he only orders when he has to restock large amounts. I would think it is not very profitable for him to order small quantities either because of shipping across the border. It is the holidays so I am not expecting a response right away but he does always get back to me when I have a question

Thank you Michael for the response. I believe I did read that here in another thread as well. Both are available right now so I would probably go with the medium and see how that one goes. I just have to decide on which blank to go with now.

I am new to the forum and fairly new to building. I have only built a couple rods so far. I am looking to build a drop shot rod over the winter but my options in Canada are pretty limited. Ordering from the US gets pretty costly especially when you start talking blanks or rods.
