does he often throw 1.5oz? that seems really heavy for pompano jigs but maybe that's atlantic, I only do it in the gulf. as someone else mentioned a salmon steelhead rod would be great. Lamiglas has some 7'10 options that really zing a lure out. they are sensitive and work well at the lower end of their weight range (I find that many things rated to 1.5 can't even begin to toss 3/8) as well as

on the aero seat specifically I prefer the nut at the top so the palm swell hits my hand right BUT I loathe ever feeling threads or the roughness of the nut so I only use those with ULH hoods - it really feels great in the hand. same for the apex.

Hi folks! I'm told this is the ultimate place for the best info so thanks for letting me in! I recently built myself a lamiglas gp1022 with American Tackle double foot TiForged guides. did a 30-20-12-8-8-8-.... train and got exactly what I want - the thing just casts a mile effortlessly. I'd now like to do a similar build on a rainshadow sw867 but I'm wanting to do single foot running guid
