You can get a C4F905.4 at Rod Geeks for $100. I have not built off of their fly rod blanks yet but I am sure someone else might be able to give you some feedback on them.

Thank you Bill Hickey. I agree with the double foot snake wire guides. They look better and any additional weight on this build will be minimal. I will look into the Snake Brand guides. You are right this blank deserves quality components. Jeremy

I have built a couple of 5wt rods for friends and am now tasked building a CTS Crystalglass 2wt, 6'-6" 3pc and am unsure of what the best type of guides to use. I have ordered a set of double foot snake wire fly guides and a set of single foot wire guides. I understand that either will work but would like some advice before I get going.
