Same…. I ordered 2 blanks from them on Dec 12th…still waiting for a ship confirmation. Sent an email mid last week… no response….sent another email…still nothing. “Yes” meaning I’m wrong about that? I’m having a hard time understanding how cutting anything behind the reel seat changes anything forward of the reel seat. It seems like I could glue a 10 foot steel rod to the butt and it won’t change anything as long as the reel seat position remains the same.

Hello all, I’m new here and have a question. Ive built a couple rods already and I like short rear grips due to the fact that I fish from a kayak. The way I shortened my grips is by positioning the reel seat further back towards the butt leaving 6.5” behind the reel seat for the fighting butt and rear grip.
