My first build I used Alp XN guides and wrapped it on Alps power wrapper. Love the guides and wrapper. I’ve read a lot of great reviews of your blank’s. You guys have great customer service and I’ll keep it in mind. I was just seeing if anyone has attempted this on their own. Thanks for the suggestion. A shout out to both of the crew’s at Get Bit Outdoors and Lure Part’s Online…

Hey Musky Rod Builders! I was wondering if anyone of you have ever cut off the butt section, 28-30”, of a blank and inserted a 7.6-8’ blank and successfully made a telescopic rod.

Reaching out to anyone that has built a telescopic rod. I've been looking and all i have found is Tackle Industries, Vexan, 9' Pro XH Telescopic. Any advise, Pro's and Con's would be appreciated.

Man I was about to order some CRB bands from Lure Parts Online. They ship faster than Mud Hole and were a buck and some change cheaper. That being said the total with shipping was just under $17. $7.95 and free shipping with Amazon Prime and I'll have them within 3 days. Thanks for saving me $10.00

Hello every one. I have a new hobby and questions to go along with it so I'll start with this one... How critical are the the line weight specs for rod blanks. Like i said I'm new to this and plan on my first build to be a 7' to 9' Musky/Pike casting rod and most of the blanks that i have looked at that claim to be for musky are rated 60 lbs or less. I plan on spooling an Abu Garcia C4 6600 with
