Thanks for the comments - I agree whole-heartedly (except for the spell correction).
No I didn't spell "color" wrong - the website is published in the USA - (audience analysis).
I can't help if they donn't spel co-rectally (no offense intended at all, please take it in good humour or is that humor (lol).

Thanks Jason
I'm after the thread colours that come with the manufactured rod complete.
The client has purchased one 3 months ago and has had a guide part company on the rod
Thanks

Can anyone tell me what are the thread colours are for a GLoomis CBR783 Blend?
It's 3 months old. It sounds like it needs a repair job and I haven't seen the rod yet so I don't know if I have the thread to match.
Thanks

Help please
I have a blank that is virtually the same colour as Gudebrod Garnet.
I'm using blue zirconium guides with a blue Abu Ambassadeur baitcaster
I have used the blue burl cork for handles
Any suggestions for thread colours appreciated - pictures even better
Thank you Robert

Am I asking the impossible?
A blank to suit - 8 foot, 2 piece, 20-40lb, Spin-Jig type blank, for tackling large pelagics off the rocks - Kingfish, etc?
Thanks for the advice

A blank can't be 100% graphite
What is it that glues it all together - polyester, urethane, epoxy, ,,, what?
What else is in a blank?

Any fish silhouette really - some fish can be identified in silhouette from above such as tuna that have their front fins almost straight out from their bodies but just a general fish from the above view.
Thanks

Sorry but there ain't no such thing as a dumb truck driver - I'll never except statements like that - people are more valuable than anything.
What you said made very good sense to me.
Thank you for contributing to the philosophical side of fishing and rod building

Do we need to understand why people go fishing to build them the best rod possible?
What is it - there is more to fishing than catching fish - What is it?
Frankly I build all my own rods but I don't really go fishing to catch fish - so what do my fishing rods need to be .... ??? Do they need something else?
Food for thought?
