Thread wrap looks as good as new,,,,after a little light sanding fresh epoxy.

I'm in the process of rebuilding(cleaning up old rods that I built long ago)this rod got a fresh coat of thread epoxy and a new handle.The old handle ,,,foam that was 28 yrs old, came apart from the blank and hardened up.Foam handles were pop. in the late 70s and 80s.

After having a near death experiance caused by heart problems while fishing, I dropped a custom rod in the water.The members of TSS came through with components for me to replace this rod,,,here are the results.I gave thanks for life by useing olive wood and adding praying hands(serinity prayer).
