would eva look and work as well as cork grips on light 6' spinning and casting. All of the factory seem to always use cork. thanks

thanks for the help, I had about 12 inches of rod left coming out of the fore grip so I took another 6'6" blank and cut enough off the butt end and slid it over the 12 inch stub with epoxy glue and it seems to look and feel the same. I was concerned that it may not cast the same. The rod is now 7' . I just hopes it does ok.

Has anyone ever fixed a broken rod by inserting a blank over the broken stub coming out of the fore grip, If so how much of the broken stub be left to slide the blank over?

thanks for the help guys. The part A looks good but part B looked darker in both brands. I did not know if it was my imagination or not. I am going to try some on a wrap and see what happens.

can annyone tell me the appox. life of aftcote and u40 epoxy. I have had it stored in my shop cabinet for about a year or so. temperture stays at about 65 to 70 degrees.

thanks guys , I have an 8 inch butt wrap with mettalic gold , I thought it may help to keep my over wrap for the diamond design to stay in place better.
