Post like this should be deleted. Especially after looking at the pictures I don’t see nothing wrong with a blank. I would love to buy that blank and post pictures after it’s built it so something amazing like it was intended to

Same here 1st coat I let it dry completely then I put decals and I wrap them with thread fairly tight let it sit for 10 min take the thread off and it’s good for second coat

You can always go to your local Home Depot. They sell butcher block. That would make good looking solid work bench that you can stain to any color you want or even put a bar top epoxy on it.

What Norm said. The best way is to wait till you have the blank in hand and go from there. And if your guides are 4.5 I would go with 4.5 or 4 for the ring size. It looks better if the tip top is same size or smaller

Hello Aaron 13-14” I think would be to long for what your doing. I found that 11.5 - 12” works best for me. But I do not think you would lose distance going from 13.5 to 10.5.
