I've been building on NFC 704-1 IM and 703-1 HM and love them both. I recently caught a 35# red and 29" trout on the 704...what a great rod. I've also built several spinners on Rod Geeks C470MF. This was my favorite spinning blank until I built the NFCs.

I've built four rods on the 7' Carbon 4 blank and one rod on the 7' SCV blank and love all of them. Lately I've been building on NFC IM and HM blanks and love them even more, although it took three tries to get me a straight HM blank, so they obviously have QC issues.

Lin, I'm working up a ML 7' inshore rod. Historically I'd use Fuji titanium KW7, KB6, then eight KT5s and this system works great. With that said, I wanted to see what the buzz was about recoil guide systems so I ordered ten. Unbeknownst to me, most recoil guide #s don't coincide with Fuji's #s.
