I use PG, esp on fly rods, and it has a lot of uses. I like the look of it on fly rods becasue it gives the rod that " CLASSIC" look.......Just my opinion.......

I bought some from Mud Hole and I really like it a lot......I think you might be right Mo, but it is so cheap and goes a long way that I go with my logic and support our sponsors. Saying that I wish someone on our left would carry flock material and advertiise on our site.......That's all I have to say about that.......

Hekkllo Mo, I use it a lot. It is quite a bit better than the cork dust I use to make...and the price is right. It is great for old rods; in getting the cork ready to flock over....I give it a "A":::::Does what it said it would do......Have a great day....

I have been building quite a few bigger rods with split grips.....I had my doubts as well but did use some cork tape to help protect the rod in the rod holder. My biggest concern is, like many of y'all is balance. Had the same doubts as Billy, but my customers that I built them for like them and had run-on business from the ones I have on the boats. I built me a catfishing rod to use up on Fal

I use "Cath Tip Syringes" 60cc. You can get them at any medical supply shop, but if you had a good friend or family that works in a hospital they might be able to get you one rather cheap. Never had any problems with the spoons but it just a little less messy with the cath tips.

Like Steve, Mr. Porsch, my rods are made to fish. We work very hard to get the best finishes and equipment that will hold up. If what you said were true the why are we paying over 200 dollars for blanks.............Rods can be works of art and practical at the same time............

All good advice above.......Hand washing is very inportant and if you are like Tom and I in that you use your fingernails, Make sure your finger nails are clean. I wash my hands with rubbing alcohol behore and during thread work......Helps remove some of the oil from your hands....Be sure to use hand creme when you go in the house because you don't want your hands to crack.......Have a good day

Give flexcoat a call if Bob's fix doesn't give you any joy. The people there are the greatest. When you call you may get the owner and he is just as helpful as his techs. Thanks.............The number is on the website on the left side.............

You sure can. I use it on light rods and I know people that use it on heavier rods but I use other things for my heavier rods esp. when weight isn't a big problem..........Have a good day in your part of the world. If you cant find it holler at me or someone else and we will get some to you.....

I used Diamond2 on the first tiger wrap I did on a rod for a customer. From my practice sessions I figured out, for me anyway, that if I leave it three to four days the wrap comes out a lot better. I sure hope so becuase I have one curing now...........Have a good days guys and gals......

I wouldn't dare put it one of my good reels. To me fresh water and VERY, VERY, VERY, light oil. Rocket oil pretty expensive but is a good choice. I am not saying that CX would hurt anything but solvents will destroy a reel.............Just my opinion now...............Thanks guys.............
