Would it be feasible or possible to heat the reel seat and grip to turn about 3/16 of an inch? it cast the same as an identical one, but me just looking at it is irritating. thank you. john duncan

I agree with others it’s cheap at double the price Gladly pay more , the savings on 2-3 blanks alone cover the admission The classes are priceless The location is great easy to get too and the Marriott Is right with the price Local restaurants are affordable It’s like A short inexpensive vacation.

Can’t add too much but there are also ongoing classes in small groups , numerous hands on instruction , Great fellowship, and several great restaurants walking distance from the Marriott .

I have a young friend looking to add rod building as a new hobby , before he starts spending money I thought he might try to locate someone locally he might spend some time with . ? Look at the BGE Daiwa series Best reel I’ve seen close to a hundred dollars From Amazon 1500-6000 I fish 3000 series for snook and redfish 18 months and no issues Cast a country mile , quiet easy to maintain BG1500 6BB + 1 5.6 : 1 28.3 8.5 4/155, 6/100, 8/80 8/220, 10/130 4.4 BG2000 6BB + 1 5.6 : 1 29.5 8.5 6/135, 8/110, 10/90 10/160, 15/130 4.4 BG2500 6BB + 1 5.6 : 1 33.2 9.3 6/21
