Would it be feasible or possible to heat the reel seat and grip to turn about 3/16 of an inch?
it cast the same as an identical one, but me just looking at it is irritating.

I agree with others it’s cheap at double the price
Gladly pay more , the savings on 2-3 blanks alone cover the admission
The classes are priceless
The location is great easy to get too and the
Marriott Is right with the price
Local restaurants are affordable
It’s like A short inexpensive vacation.

Can’t add too much but there are also ongoing classes in small groups , numerous hands on instruction ,
Great fellowship, and several great restaurants walking distance from the Marriott .

I have a young friend looking to add rod building as a new hobby , before he starts spending money I thought he might try to locate someone locally he might spend some time with .
? Do we have any rod builders in the Canastota New York area that might be willing to let my friend spend a few sessions while you put a few rods together

Looking to build a “ bonefish spinning rod for a good friend
Not sure what to choose
Fish range from 3-10 lbs mostly in the 5 lbs range very fast
Probably be casting very small shrimp or crabs ?
On 10-15 lb braid

What the purpose of using a taller guide rather than a normal spin cast guide .
Fishing for 50 years and I don’t think I ever saw a “tall
