Whenever I've transferred images to cork I've used Liquitex Matte Gel, which is found in places that carry art supplies (Michaels, Hobby Lobby). Just brush it on the cork, press the paper on it and let it dry. Then come back and remove the paper with water. The ink should be left behind.

I had rotator cuff surgery at the end of April 2018. Did rehab for about 6 months. By mid-June, I could do a little fishing with a light fly rod, not trying to push my luck. How does the tax work if you are building a rod and donating it to a charitable organization (such as a TU fundraiser)? Or if you are holding a rod building class, where the students essentially pay for the cost of the components and build the rod for themselves? Dave Fowler

I've had success with a matte gel transfer on to cork (Google it and you will find quite a few YouTube videos). Essentially, all you do is brush on matte gel (available in the art supply dept. at craft stores) on the cork and then you apply a printed image (either ink jet or laser printing works) on top of the gel.
