Does anyone know if they will open back up any time in the near future? If not where can I get engraved fly reel seats?

Can't wait, this will be my first with this esteemed crowd.I look forward to it and will have a ton of questions, but I am confidant they will be answered!
Everyone has been very receptive to my questions and provided good info to think about. i wish it had been here 35 yrs ago when i was building trolling rods. But , alas Al Gore had not invented the WWW then.
i am in the process of building a

I was a fishing rep for a while and sold to Henry's ( Big Rock) , BPS, Cabelas , WM and a host of other wholesalers so I know the difficult part of explaining and selling a new concept to them. People are driven by what they perceive the public will buy. As far as Ducketts and Lews, our local Cabelas carries both Ducketts and Lews but nothing with Microwave guides.I have asked several times in st

Thanks for all the replies. Lot's of AT Pros on here. Next question, will the SS airwaves hold up to braid or would I be better off with a composite ring like in the Micros? Since these are popular among builders and have been out for 5 years, why do you not see rods in stores with them? I have yet to see one in Cabela's, Academy, Sportsman Warehouse, GM. Never saw a SC, Kistler, Cashion, G Loomi

Do these and the Airwave guides really perform as stated ? I am seriously considering but would like input from those that have experience with them. I have built a lot of offshore IGFA class rods for sport boats, but my interest has switched to inshore so I am curios . These rods will be for flounder, seatrout, and channel bass(redfish for those not from SC).Thank you for your input.

I had one years ago , came to me from a friend at Pinnacle Fishing, pain in the rear to thread. Could feel the friction in the blank when drag was being pulled out with a fish. As long as there was tension on the line, very sensitive, otherwise only useful purpose i see is a sabiki rod.

I am in upstate SC, shipping might be prohibitive, let's hope Daytona or a local respond, a FTF isa better solution, but we will see. Really want the magazines and thread if someone else wants the balance.

Still on the 1st page, if the gentleman from Daytona doesn't want it, would you consider shipping to SC?
